  • Pastoral Elegies – Two celebrated Augustan poems: Thomas Gray’s “Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard” and Oliver Goldsmith’s “The Deserted Village” matched with ten wood engravings by Christopher Wormell. Spring 2024.
  • A Scanty Plot of Ground – Sonnets by John Donne and Gerard Manley Hopkins enhanced by wood-engraved portraits of the poets by Abigail Rorer. Summer 2024.
  • Bordering on the Sublime – A detailed study of the ornamental borders of the Curwen Press that will include reprinting of the original borders, new text by Crispin Elsted and David Jury discussing the history and development of printer’s flowers, of the Curwen Press, and of its master designer, Bert E. Smith. Appendices including a reprinting of A Grammar Ornament of Type. Three states, whose details remain tentative. Anticipated in late 2024 (-ish).
