Parenthesis 43 Has Landed!

It’s always an exciting mail day when Parenthesis lands. This time around the highlights of the North American Autumn 2022 issue include a great profile of Claire Van Vliet and her Janus Press (written by Felicia Rice of the Moving Parts Press), an admiring review of Barbarian Press’ Sudden Immobility (if you don’t have it yet, what are you waiting for?), an engaging interview with printer and activist Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr., and an interesting chronicle of the C.C. Stern Type Foundry’s move from Portland to a rural spot near the Columbia River Estuary. I prefer the more traditional content but being the North American issue, there are also a bunch of “booklike objects” being featured, if that’s your thing.
